Study Abroad
Welcome to the mobility designer
The Mobility Designer turns findings from the TEAM project into concrete support for those shaping mobility in music teacher education. Here you will find design principles and examples that help you plan, implement, and improve mobility in a systematic, evidence-informed way.
This website is for international coordinators, administrative staff, as well as music education faculty and student representatives who want to:
make mobility structurally possible within their degree programs
strengthen the quality and relevance of students’ mobility experiences
create fairer, more transparent pathways for students to study abroad.
Structure and content
The five design focus areas can guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of mobility structures and practices at your institution.
Each focus area contains several design principles. These principles are formulated as recommendations and include a description, the underlying need or challenge it addresses, and examples of how it could be operationalized in practice. The principles are not intended as prescriptive rules but as adaptable guidelines to support institutions in shaping meaningful and inclusive mobility experiences.
